The niche sectors of the economy feel the squeeze.

A friend owns an organic dairy farm and he just decided to raise more beef. Got to pay the bills anyway you can.

Finally a post that has meaning. Not only going organic but going green period it will cost us way to much and leave us with way to little.

I don't mind consumers going green or organic as long as they and their advocates don't try to force their personal choices down my throat.

I would love to go organic! But...it is so expensive!!

The organic products in my local supermarkets are so expensive!!! I always like to read the labels, calories, fats and so on... and I notice that even some organic foods are not that great for your health either, but alot are so, but they are so overpriced!

I only buy organic when on sale.

I'm with you there. Right now I'm feeling forced feed going green and its because they have to strike now before the actual facts catch up with the fallacies.

Wow, this is really sad. My family has spent far far less on healthcare, had far less incidence of illness that would cause lost work time, etc, since adopting an organic diet. Yes, the food costs more, but the improvement in how we feel has been worth it. My 2yo has never been sick at all.

Note: Genetics helps too.

Sad thing, average American with at least a child making less than $20,000 a year can't afford eating Organic or Green.

I'm in the other boat I have never been sick and I haven't gone organic. I can still take penicillin if I ever have to. I have accumulated and maxed out my sick time at my job nearly 3 years ago and accumulate no more. I have a cold every year but it lasts about 3 days and its gone. Can't even remember the last time I actually had the flu. Maybe when I was 12, I'm 48 now. You can be healthy and not have to be organic. When your body is working they way it should most contaminates are flushed. If you know what your body needs and you provide it your systems will do the rest.
